Terms of service
The rules for using SEO for AI Agents: the service, your account, acceptable use, the free-tool limits, billing, and the legal terms. Plain language, no traps.

Agreement to these terms
These terms of service are a binding agreement between you and Valiant Autonomy LLC, a Maryland limited liability company doing business as Own The Climb, which operates SEO for AI Agents (referred to here as “Own The Climb,” “we,” or “us”; the product is “the service”). By creating an account, running an audit, using a free tool, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization, and “you” means that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
The service
SEO for AI Agents is an SEO auditing product. It fetches public web pages you point it at, analyzes them for foundational, technical, and AI visibility signals, and for local signals when the pages show a physical location or a service area, measures how AI engines answer queries about a brand, and returns findings, scores, and recommended fixes. Some measurements are deterministic rules; some come from live AI models, in which case we show the provider, the model, and when the question was asked. We describe how our crawler behaves on our bot policy page and our data practices on our security page.
The service is a diagnostic and informational tool. It does not guarantee any search ranking, any AI citation, any traffic outcome, or any business result, and it is not a substitute for professional SEO, legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice.
The service is built for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.
AI-generated content
Reports, findings, recommendations, suggested rewrites, and action plans are automated analysis. Parts of them are written by AI models, and AI answer measurements reflect what a model said in a sample at a point in time. They can be incomplete or wrong. Review anything before you publish it or rely on it.
Nothing the service produces is legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. For sites in sensitive categories such as health, law, and finance, we run an additional automated safety review on generated content. That review reduces risk; it is not a guarantee and not a substitute for review by a qualified professional.
Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Notify us at support@seoforaiagents.com promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Acceptable use
When you use the service, you agree not to:
- Point the service at anything other than publicly accessible web pages, try to make it reach pages behind a login or other access control, or use it for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service or its reports with automated tools, or attempt to overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, its infrastructure, or other users’ data.
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, abuse controls, or authentication, or share access in a way designed to evade per-account or per-tier limits.
- Submit special-category personal data, protected health information, or other regulated data through the audit inputs. The service is not designed to receive it.
- Resell or white-label the service except under a plan that expressly permits it.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these rules, that threatens the security or integrity of the service, or that we are required to act on by law.
Free tools and usage limits
We offer free tools and a free tier. Free is real, not bait, but it is bounded. Free usage is subject to limits (for example, a capped number of queries or audits, sample-depth results, and email-gated full reports) that we may set and adjust to keep the service available and to prevent abuse. We may change, throttle, or discontinue a free feature, and we may decline or rate-limit automated or excessive use. Limits and what each plan includes are described on our pricing page.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. Current prices: Starter is $49 a month or $490 a year, Pro is $149 a month or $1,490 a year, and Agency is $399 a month or $3,990 a year, plus $15 a month for each brand beyond the 20 it includes. Annual billing is paid up front for the year. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the plan you select, including any metered extra brands on Agency and applicable taxes.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, and you can resume it before then. We do not prorate a refund for the unused remainder except under the guarantee below or as required by law.
- 30-day money-back guarantee. Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email support@seoforaiagents.com within 30 days of your first charge for a paid plan and we refund that charge in full to the original payment method and cancel the subscription. Outside that guarantee, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices. If you already subscribe, we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it takes effect at your first renewal after that notice. You can cancel before then. Continuing a paid plan after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, it may be retried, and your plan stays active during a grace period. If payment still does not succeed, we may downgrade, suspend, or end the paid features.
Intellectual property
The service, including its software, methodology pages, glossary, scoring logic, brand, and design, is owned by Own The Climb and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service except as these terms allow.
You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and the content of your own site. You grant us the license needed to fetch, process, store, and analyze those inputs so we can provide the service and, in aggregate and de-identified form, improve it. The audit reports we generate for you are yours to use for your own business. We may use aggregate, non-identifying statistics about service usage for research and product improvement.
Third-party sites and services
The service fetches and analyzes third-party web pages and relies on sub-processors and third-party APIs (including AI model providers) listed in our privacy policy and on our security page. We do not control those third parties, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and their answers can change between runs. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available, but we do not commit to any uptime level, and no service-level agreement or service credits apply to the Free or Starter plans or to any other self-serve plan. Support response targets for each plan are listed on our pricing page; they are targets, not guarantees. Any uptime commitment exists only in a separately signed agreement. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we publish live health on our status page.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that findings will be complete or free of error, or that using the service will produce any particular ranking, citation, traffic, or revenue outcome. Search engines and AI models are outside our control and change constantly. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Own The Climb and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Own The Climb from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content or inputs, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if your use poses a risk to the service or other users, or if we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please email us at support@seoforaiagents.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. You and Own The Climb agree that the state and federal courts located in Maryland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, and you consent to venue there, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. Questions go to support@seoforaiagents.com.
