Service schema for AI agencies

schema.org Service markup that names each specific AI service an agency delivers, who provides it, where, and on what terms, so engines can match the agency to precise buyer questions.

Service is the schema.org type for something a business does for customers. For an AI agency the value is precision. "AI consulting" matches nothing in particular; "retrieval-augmented generation for internal knowledge bases", "LLM evaluation and red-teaming", and "voice agent development" each match a real buyer question.

Give each service its own page and its own Service block: a specific name and serviceType, a description that says what the client gets, provider referencing your Organization entity, areaServed if you work in particular regions or remotely worldwide, audience if you serve a defined industry, and offers with a price or price range if you publish one. Link related case studies from the service page and mark them up as Article with about pointing at the Service. Bundle services in an OfferCatalog on the Organization through hasOfferCatalog so the full menu is machine-readable from one place.

The markup should mirror the page, not inflate it. Listing fifteen services you have never delivered helps no one and is the kind of claim an engine can contradict from the rest of the web. And Google shows no special rich result for Service, so the return is entity clarity and AI citation eligibility. Our audit checks that each service page carries valid Service markup connected to the Organization and to supporting case studies.
