LoanOrCredit schema for MCA offers
schema.org's FinancialProduct family, including LoanOrCredit, can describe a financing offer in machine-readable form. For MCAs, choose the type that matches how your contract is actually structured.

schema.org models financing with FinancialProduct and its subtype LoanOrCredit. FinancialProduct carries properties such as annualPercentageRate, interestRate, and feesAndCommissionsSpecification; LoanOrCredit adds amount, loanTerm, loanType, and requiredCollateral. Marked up on an offer page and connected to your Organization as the provider, these tell a search engine or AI system what you offer, in what ranges, and where the full cost terms live.
There is a real nuance for merchant cash advances. Most MCA contracts are written as a purchase of future receivables, not a loan, and that distinction matters legally. Marking an MCA as LoanOrCredit with loanType "Merchant Cash Advance" is common, but if your counsel is careful about never calling the product a loan, use FinancialProduct instead and describe it accurately in the name and description. Markup should say what the page says.
Useful fields either way: a clear name and description, the funding amount range, an estimated APR range that matches your disclosures, a feesAndCommissionsSpecification URL pointing at your cost disclosure page, and provider referencing your Organization entity. Google does not render a rich result for these types, so the value is comprehension and AI citation eligibility, not a SERP feature. Our audit checks that financing pages carry consistent, valid markup that matches the visible terms.
