AccountingService schema
The schema.org type for an accounting or tax practice. It describes the firm, its services, its locations, and the credentialed people behind it in machine-readable form.

AccountingService is a schema.org subtype of FinancialService, which is itself a LocalBusiness. It is the most specific type for a CPA firm, bookkeeping practice, or tax-preparation office, and it inherits everything LocalBusiness offers: name, url, logo, telephone, address, geo, openingHoursSpecification, areaServed, and priceRange.
A strong block goes further than the address card. List services through an OfferCatalog of Service items with specific names ("Small business tax preparation", "Sales tax compliance", "Fractional CFO"), so an engine can match the firm to a precise question. Describe each partner as a Person with jobTitle, hasCredential for the CPA license, and sameAs links to the license record and professional profiles, and connect them to the firm through employee or founder. For multi-office firms, mark up each office page with its own AccountingService block and a parentOrganization link.
Keep it honest. Ratings may only be marked up where reviews are collected on your own site and shown on the page; copying a Google rating into aggregateRating breaks Google's review snippet policy. And there is no special rich result for AccountingService, so the return is entity clarity for search and AI systems rather than a visual SERP feature. Our audit validates the block and checks that the people and services it names exist on the page.
