Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Sightline (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your credentials safe. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or expose other users to risk.
3. Acceptable use
You may only audit websites you own or have written permission to test. You won't use the Service to scrape, scan, or analyze sites without authorization, attempt to overload our infrastructure, reverse-engineer the Service, or resell raw audit data without a written agreement.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal; access continues to the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Taxes are calculated and collected where applicable.
5. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't promise uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or rate limits from sites you audit may affect availability. We may change features, limits, or pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the URLs, reports, and data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that data to provide the Service. Public audit reports (the default for Free) are visible to anyone with the link.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Audit findings are recommendations, not guarantees. We don't warrant that following them will produce any specific business outcome (rankings, traffic, conversions, etc.).
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your data is removed within 30 days unless we're required to retain it.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
